重庆对外经贸学院由重庆师范大学和重庆海莱科教有限公司联合创办于2002年。

其创办方重庆师范大学创办于1954年，是隶属于中国重庆市人民政府的公立大学，是中国西部教师教育事业的重要基地。学校具有学士、硕士和博士学位授予权。

重庆对外经贸学院是经中国教育部批准的独立本科大学。

经过近二十年的发展，学院已形成经、管、文为主体，理、工、艺综合发展的学科专业格局。设立跨境商务学院、管理学院、外国语学院、文学与创意传播学院、数学与计算机学院、大数据与智能工程学院、影视融媒体学院、艺术设计学院、音乐舞蹈学院、体育系、政治课教学部等11个二级学院（系、部）；已开设43个本科专业，涉及19个一级学科，其中英语、国际经济与贸易、旅游管理为重庆市“三特行动计划”特色专业，应用经济学是重庆市级重点学科。

学校有两个校区，分别位于重庆历史文化名城合川和铜梁。目前在校学生18000余名。近几年我校学生获得国家级各类学科、专业竞赛奖励130多项。毕业生就业率在95%以上。

学校设施完善，建有智慧实验实训大楼、标准图书馆、体育馆、实验剧场、模拟演播厅和200余间多媒体和智能化教室；设有智能教育与智慧学习协同创新中心，网络舆情大数据研究中心、数字媒体技术与应用研究所、全媒体创意传播研究中心、“智慧管理+”研究发展中心等科研机构。有市级实验教学示范中心、市级众创空间、市级大学生创业孵化基地。

学校积极开展校地、校企合作，全面深化“产教城”融合发展。在教育部支持下启动了“互联网+”时代下的双创型计算机人才培养模式、跨境数字经济产学融合创新创业人才班教学研究、腾讯云大数据综合实验室建设；与腾讯、阿里巴巴等企业开展合作，建立学生实习实践基地；长期为当地政府提供培训服务，服务地方经济文化发展。

学校坚持开放办学，大力推进教育国际化，提升办学水平。全球选聘外籍教师和专家任教、讲学，提升学校外语和专业教学水平；与美国、英国、西班牙、俄罗斯、韩国、马来西亚、泰国等国家开展了广泛的交流合作，选派教师到境外进行学术交流，选拔学生赴海外实习、学习。学校在重庆同类院校中率先开展来华留学教育，近年来到我校游学、访学及攻读本科学历的国际学生不断增加，有力促进了中外人文交流。

Chongqing Normal University

Chongqing Normal University (hereafter as “CNU”), founded in 1954, is a full-time comprehensive institution of higher education under the leadership of Chongqing Municipal Government of P. R. China. CNU is a higher education institution authorized to award Master’s and Bachelor’s degree with the approval of the Degree Awarding commission of the State Council, P. R. China. And it was granted doctor degree institute by Chinese education government in 2018.

Currently, there are 17 colleges, 72 bachelor’s degree programs, 24 first-level discipline of authorized master’s degree programs, 14 professional authorized master degree programs, authorized secondary vocational master’s degree, authorized advanced teachers professional master degree of literature, science, economics, management, art, physical education, etc., forming an educational system which is able to train postgraduates, undergraduates, associates and overseas students.

The university now has 3 campuses with area of 1.73 square kilometers. It has 30,000 student, 800 doctoral supervisors and master supervisors. It has nearly 200 national scientific research project and 60 national scientific research achievements.

The university now cooperates with over 30 countries all over the world. It promoted Chinese language to the world and now has Confucius institute in all five continents.

Chongqing College of International Business and Economics

Chongqing College of International Business and Economics was founded in 2002 under CNU, which has been approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education. It is a full time regular undergraduate School.

After nearly 20 years' development, the college has become a multidisciplinary coordinated developing college. The college keeps improving the quality of teaching and tries the best to make the school to be a standout school all over China. The college is divided into 11 schools: Film and Television Fusion Media School, Global Business School, Big Data & Engineering School, Foreign Language School, Mathematics & Computer School, Management School, Literature and Creative Communication School, Performing Arts School, Art & Design School, Sports School and Department of Political Education. Our college also established Modern Education & Training School and International College. The college now has 43 undergraduate majors. English major, International Economics and Trade major and Tourist Management major has been approved the special major of Chongqing Three Specials Action.

The college has two campuses now which are Hechuan campus and Tongliang campus with more than 18,000 students. During these three years, the students have been rewarded 37 national rank 1 prizes and 136 rank 2 prizes. The employment rate of graduate always keeps above 95%.

The college has a wide range of facilities including the newly built smart training  building, a standardized library, a sports stadium, an experimental theatre, a stimulation studio and more than 200 multimedia and smart classrooms as well as several research institutes such as the Innovation Center of Smart Education and Studies Coordination, the Big Data Research Center for Online Public Opinion, the Institute of Digital Media Technology and Application, the All-Media Creative Broadcasting Research Center, the Intelligent Management + R&D Center and more. The Pilot Municipal-Level Experimental Teaching Center, a Municipal Innovator Space and an Incubation Base of College Students Entrepreneurship are also set up.

Cooperation between the college and the local government and enterprises has been established to deepen the integration of coordinated development among industry, education and city. With support of the Ministry of Education, we have initiated the new practices in talent fostering model focusing on Double-Innovation in Computing Science, the building of Cross-Border and Digital Economy Combined Innovation Talents Class and the construction of the Comprehensive Lab Sponsored by Tecent Cloud Big Data. Cooperation has been extended with big industry giants such as Tecent and Alibaba in the form of jointed students training and internship bases. As part of the effort of engaging with the local social economical and cultural development, training services of various kinds have long been offered to local governments agencies by the college.

The college also continuously focuses on building the communication with international schools and cultivates the character of “foreign trade”. During these years, the college has a great cooperation with the schools in America, England, Canada, Korea, Thailand and so on. The college hires over 10 foreign teachers who come from America, Korea, Sri Lanka, Italy, Croatia, Thailand, etc every year. The college also sent over 200 teachers and students to study, internship and work abroad.
